A notification event is an event that triggers the system to send a notification e-mail. This topic discusses specific notification events that are related to subscriptions (Collaboration sends other notification e-mails that are not directly related to subscriptions, such as to users who have overdue tasks or moderators of documents or discussions). When you are subscribed to a Collaboration object and a notification event occurs on that object, the system sends you a notification e-mail informing you about the event.
