A notification link is a system-generated URL that you can send to recipients of your choosing. The text body of the Notification Link tab includes two links:
After clicking on the first link, the recipient is sent to the object from which you clicked Notify.
Click Create, which launches your default e-mail client. The body of the e-mail includes both notification links. You can edit this e-mail before sending it.
Copy and paste the notification link:
Select then copy the contents of the Notification Link text box by simultaneously pressing the CTRL(Control) key and Ckey on your keyboard.
Create a new e-mail in your desktop e-mail editor.
Paste the URL in your e-mail editor by simultaneously pressing the CTRL(Control) key and V key on your keyboard.
After you have sent the link, click Finish.
You can also access the URL of a document's notification link by selecting the document, then clicking Show Notification Link below the details pane action bar for the document.
