Recycle Bin System Folder

Collaboration stores deleted projects in the Recycle Bin System Folder, which you can access with Project Explorer if you have the Manage Collaboration Projects activity right. Use the Recycle Bin System Folder to remove and undelete projects that have been deleted.

Projects that are removed from the Recycle Bin System Folder are permanently removed from the system. Projects that are undeleted from the Recycle Bin System Folder are made available to users.

Note: Collaboration contains two types of recycle bins. The other recycle bin (not discussed in this topic) is used to manage specific items that were deleted from projects, rather than deleted projects. For more information, see Project Recycle Bin.

1. Choose one or more projects in the table pane.

2. Click Delete.

A confirmation dialog appears.

3. Click OK.

2. Click Undelete.
   Projects that you undelete are moved to the root folder.
