The Synchronize dialog box lets you manually synchronize your Outlook or Lotus Notes calendar with your calendar in the My Calendar portlet.
When synchronization occurs, Collaboration:
Exports the events, tasks and milestones that you created since the last synchronization to your Outlook or Lotus Notes calendar. The following table lists the items that are exported from your Calendar and explains how they appear in your Outlook or Lotus Notes calendar:

Updates any appointments in your Outlook or Lotus Notes calendar if they were originally exported from your Calendar events, tasks or milestones.

Synchronize only the appointments in your Outlook or Lotus Notes calendar to the events, tasks and milestones that fall within the date range. To change the date range, go back to your Calendar and alter your view to display only the dates that you want to synchronize (for example, a different month or only one week of dates instead of one month of dates). |
Remove deleted project events from my Outlook/Lotus Notes calendar |
Optional. Remove the appointments on your Outlook or Lotus Notes calendar that were previously created from Events, Tasks or Milestones and no longer exist in Collaboration. |
