About Calendar

The Calendar, which holds the events of your projects, can be viewed by month, by week, or by day. The Calendar lists  Collaboration objects that have dates. The calendar items Can be a task, an event, or a milestone. are:

Description

Tasks are single units of work done by one person.

A milestone is a single date of an important occurrence or turning point related to a project.

An event can include company meetings and other happenings that are of interest to project users and may impact work on a project.

Note: Administrators create holidays by using the Holidays page of Collaboration Administration Utility.

An event can recur daily, weekly, or biweekly. For step-by-step instructions on how to create an event, see Creating Events.

An appointment created in Microsoft Outlook or IBM Lotus Notes.

A recurring appointment created in Microsoft Outlook or IBM Lotus Notes.  

A meeting created in Microsoft Outlook or IBM Lotus Notes. A meeting is different from an appointment in that it has multiple attendees. Appointments are Outlook or Lotus Notes events that involve only yourself, such as a vacation.
