You can create a new project based on a template or from scratch. After you create a project, you can modify its general settings. Click Finish after you are done configuring the project settings.

Template-based projects only. Available only when you select Create a template-based project. Click Browse to locate the project template on which to base the new project. |
Date-Shifting Method |
Template-based projects only. Indicates the method of shifting project dates based on the base date of the project. The methods are:
The date-shifting methods cannot be changed in this editor. You must change the settings in the General Settings Editor of the Project Template. |
Template Base Day |
Template-based projects with date-shifting methods only. Indicates the base date of the template. This information comes from the template on which you are basing your project. Collaboration uses this when copying dates from the template to your new project. The template base day can be changed in the General Settings Editor of the project template. |
Project Start Day/Week/Month |
Template-based projects with date-shifting
methods only. Specify when your project
should begin. Click Click date-shift calculator to determine how dates will be shifted when you create a project based on a project template. |
Invitees |
Click Invitees to invite users to the project. |
Attachments |
Click Attachments to attach files to the projects. |
Settings |
Description |
Name |
Type no more than 100 characters to name the project. |
Language |
Choose the default language for the project from the list. Collaboration uses the language information when indexing the project for searching. |
Description |
Optional. Type no more than 1,000 characters to describe the project. The description is indexed for searching. |
Image URL |
Optional. Location of a small image (300 pixels wide x 200 pixels high) to place on the Project Overview page. |
Status |
Select the status of the project.
As work on a project progresses, the Project Leader should change the status of the project. |
Project Size |
If you want to enforce a maximum size for the project, select the check box and type a number in megabytes. Uploading a document fails if the project size exceeds the maximum limit. You cannot type a number that exceeds the project size that the administrator sets for all projects on the Miscellaneous page of Collaboration Administration Utility. |
