You can create a new project template based on a pre-existing project or from scratch.
Click Finish after you are done configuring the following:

Source Project |
Available only when you select Create a project template based on an existing project. You can select any project for which you are a Project Leader. Click Browse to locate the project on which to base the new project template. |

Name |
Type no more than 100 characters to name the project template. |

Language |
Choose the default language for the project from the list. The language you choose will become the language of a project created from this project template. Collaboration uses this information when indexing the project template for searching. |
|
Description |
Optional. Type no more than 1,000 characters to describe the project template. The description is indexed for Collaboration search. |
|
Image URL |
Optional. Location of a small image (300 pixels wide x 200 pixels high) to place on the Project Overview page. |

Date-Shifting Method |
Set the method of shifting dates based on the base date of the project template. Select the method for copying dates from this project template to a new project: |

Template Base Day/Week/Month |
If you copy dates directly from the project template, this option does not appear. Depending on the date shifting method you selected, select a base day, base week, or base month for the project template. |
